Try this email http://tigaslitter.blogspot.com/ to read about Tiga's puppies and to see the pictures. They are adorable and Tiga is a super MoM. Judy (Emma's foster mom) is doing a super job with Tiga and the puppies. Tory, their family dog, is also keeping an eye on them all. Judy also is raising and training Charlie to be a service dog. WOW they have a lot of dogs and puppies in their home right now. We plan to visit after camp.
Camp is 7 days away. The weather has been awesome and I hope it stays that way during camp. We need more spring rains but hope it isn't all during camp. We will just see how it goes and enjoy it no matter what. There are several friends from camp that I look forward to having time to spend with them.
Today we have a birthday party for my Aunt at my brother's. They have a nice back yard and porch so hope we sit outdoors or on the porch. It will be nice to see my siblings and my Aunt.
I am going to go play outside with Emma. Enjoy the day

The weather is fantastic. I hope it stays that way for camp.
I am so sorry that I did not see you all at the Run and Romp. Greg had planned we spend the day together for our anniversary. It was a surprise to me. It is 29 years on Sunday. He works Sunday and I have a birthday party for my Aunt. I didn't communicate to him about the Run and Romp I guess. I also did not have my own car to use today.
I am writing briefly tonight. I am getting ready to go out to dinner where we will join friends to celebrate.
29 years on the 29th of April. I am proud of that. Lots of patience and shared values have helped us all these years.
Hope the Run and Romp went well.

Today I am having trouble with a headache. I did get Emma outside though several times wearing dark glasses even indoors. The bright sunlight makes the headache worse. They say headaches are not part of MS if you talk to the doctors - if you talk to those of us with MS we will almost all say headaches seem to come with MS. My balance is way off and my movements a bit slower today too. Of course Emma didn't mind our naps or me just sitting and watching her play outdoors. She can entertain herself easily even when I don't throw things for her to fetch. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow.
My daughter Anna spent some time with us and I enjoyed that. I felt like my mother because I wanted to say "Can't you stay longer" even though I was with her several hours. The time just flew by. She is so fun to be around. She has a new cat named Molly. She is sure enjoying her new roomate - though Molly likes to wake her up to play at 5 am I hear. I think it sounds like it is good for her to have a pet again.
Emma likes when Anna comes home. She played with Anna and was so excited.
The RUN AND ROMP is tomorrow. I blew it. I didn't raise money for it with tending to my mom, her death, and just life concerns. It just snuck up on me. I thought I would at least raise money for Helping Paws when Emma runs for Queen but found out that is canceled. I know most of you probably raise money for Helping Paws or donate anyway. For those of us who wish to do so, and are able to I encourage you to send a donation of $10 or more to Helping Paws, PO Box 634 Hopkin's MN55343. Emma and I would appreciate it!!
I hope to be at the Run and Romp. I am having a bit of trouble with my scooter though. I will volunteer where ever they need me - hopefully do something where I can sit.

These MN Twins Fans were tired today ha ha. We did go to swimming and that felt good. I can exercise in the water in ways I cannot do so outside the water. It is so comforting and good for those of us with MS. We have one lady who has lost so much ability and muscle strength but with the assist of a swim belt can still swim. The belt is just for extra safety if she gets tired. She can no longer stand or walk on her own...so she loves the movement in the water. Sometimes she can hold a standing position there...she is an inspiration to us all.
We came home and took a nap. i mean a mega nap. I slept for Four - yes four hours. Tonight I will go to bed at a more reasonable time. I mention that especially for those with MS. Not everyone with MS needs those mega naps but sometimes I sure do. It is not lazy but needed to replenish my energy supply.
Emma and I had fun outside playing with her frisbee and other toys I throw. The frisbee and a good old fashion ball please her immensely. She likes watching the birds, rabbits and squirrels that are around this time of year. The temperature was very comfortable today. I think in the high 60's?
They are saying we might see sun and 80"s by Sunday or Monday. Now with MS I don't need it too much higher than 80. My motor function declines when i get too hot. I love being outside in the spring and summer and fall though. We did not go for a walk today, hopefully tomorrow. My long nap meant a late supper so we just didn't get out there to walk before dark.
My doctor for MS always says "Some things are worth being tired for" and I agree. I don't mind the mega sleeps now and then in order to participate in life. I heard we might get some twins tickets from friends for another time also. We heard they won today in a day game (which we slept through).
Emma doesn't mind the mega naps either. I guess she got up when Greg got home from work and then climbed back into bed with me. Tomorrow I will get her outdoors for more exercise and we need to make a trip to the grocery store for a few things also. Yeah Friday we will see my daughter Anna for awhile. i have the greatest kids in the world.
Off to do my dishes, Mary and Emma
(Now Emma would be happy to lick them clean for me. Wouldn't it be nice if that worked? No I do them by washing them. She picks up dish towels or utencils or things I drop.'

We went to the Twins Game tonight. Emma did fine. She laid under our seats. At one point she was a bit streched out to where there was an empty seat by me. Can you believe this? The people right beside me dumped a bunch of their food garbage right in front of her nose. I mean practically on top of her. Especially the peanut shells flew all over. I mean I don't want that stuff on my dog. I thought it was very rude. I know people often dump their trash on the floor at a stadium - but when there is a dog right there? I was not a happy camper. Emma responded to the command "leave it" but we moved her a bit just the same.
we went out to use the bathroom and strech at the end of the 7th innning. The walkiing on steps was difficult for me. The usher pointed out she had a handicaped area seat open so Emma and I watched the rest of the game from there. The floor was clean and their was more leg room so more room for her to rest. Now most of the people by us both in the beginning of the game and end of the game were just wonderful. They thought Emma was so cute and well behaved.
The Twins lost but that didn't damper the fun we have. We came early and could picnic on the plaza outside the metrodome. It was fun to eat there and also fun to people watch. I wore my Twins jersey that I got for my birthday last year. Greg had a Twins shirt too. I should have tied a homer hanky on Emma. She was very patient both inside and outside with all the noise and all the people. She is such a good dog.
Tomorrow we get to sleep in which is good since this is a late bedtime for us. We will go swimming if all goes as planned and are invited out to lunch as well. I never thought I would be fortunate enough to go out to lunch with friends like I do. We go to places that are in expensive - but I sure enjoy the company of friends.
Emma had fun in her yard today. Tonight when we got home she ran so fast round and round the yard. I always think she is glad to get home - or is that because I am?? I hope we get to another game but next time maybe they will wind. We got tickets through my daughter's work - it was very enjoyable.
Hope you have a nice day. take time for some fun. Hey Tiga had her puppies!! If you want to see pictures of them and read the blog send me a comment with your email address included.
I am sure Judy and Tiga are busy with eight little puppies. I am so glad they are all healthy. Mary and Emma
