Emma is a super companion when you don't feel good. There isn't much to say about our day as I slept a good part of it again. Nice weather so I am getting her outside too. Feels good to sit outside with her. She is more interested in chasing her balls again. We found some under the couch that she hasn't seen for awhile. I feel a little bit better.

Mary is not feeling well. We had a wonderful Memorial Day Party Sunday so I think she got tired. But her tummy is not feeling well. She says maybe by tomorrow she will feel better.
I am taking good care of her.

Just a quick note that the strong storms only caused heavy rain here. Part of it just missed us. My prayers for those with damage or injuries. It sure got dark here.

Fun time with Family today. They are still here so I am off to play some more with Rosa. A super nice day. Our kabobs turned out great.

I went to breakfast with my sister and childhood friends. Next stop we visited my sister's Godmother. She is 90 with a great attitude. We however did not bring the dog as we did not think she would handle it well. We had a nice visit.

Emma had a great time in the yard with Greg. When I came home we did a few inside chores and outside we went. I was the supervisor as Greg planted seven new rose bushes. I also did some watering. It was just such great weather to be outdoors. Emma enjoyed it.

When we came in I fed Emma. I didn't look at the clock. It seemed later to me since we got up early...so that happy dog was fed at 4 instead of 5 or 6!! I know she did not mind at all.
We must have tired her out as she is now napping happily.

My children are coming over tomorrow and Rosa too. I hope the weather is nice and it doesn't rain. Tonight we are going to make the kabobs and marinate them overnight. We plan to have rice, fruit, and a green salad with them. I think it will be fun.

Hope you are having a good weekend. I have some political calls to make but I feel like I shouldn't bother them tonight? I wish I had time to get more done last week...

We had a nap before the granddaughters came today. It is so delightful to have them with us. I went with Sophia to her violin lesson. Rosa went shopping for groceries with Grandpa. Then we headed home. The girls liked a music video that had songs and puppets. Greg grilled.
Poor Rosa had an upset tummy when she ate. Even with that she was in a great mood. I had fun giving her a bath. Such a fun girl at almost 19 months. We will see her again on Sunday.

Sophia is doing great on the violin. She is eight, will go into third grade, and just so special to us. We really enjoyed talking with her. She plays so nice with her little sister. She is just adorable.

Emma was a bit jealous tonight. When I got on the floor to change Rosa's pants Emma came to sit on my lap. Now that doesn't work. Many times she came over for reassuring hugs and pats from us as I played with the girls. At the end of the evening Rosa went over to give her gentle pats and a big hug. I would like a picture but didn't capture the moment.

Emma did have fun outdoors of course. It was another beautiful day. I enjoyed sitting outside with her. After the girls left tonight I made sure to give her extra tlc.

Tomorrow I am having breakfast with my sister and some friends from childhood. Then we are going to visit my sister's Godmother. Emma will be home with Greg. He plans to work in the yard so she will get many opportunities to be outside. I should be home by 11:30 or noon. then we hope to clean the house and maybe get some planting done.
Yeah Sunday my children are coming over and a few of their friends. It should be fun.
