Sunday
Another day that I was more sleepy. We still got outside to weed and to play. Also did some dishes and laundry. Most of the day though I rested or read. Book club is tomorrow.
Emma likes the outdoors. Normally we play in the back yard which is fenced. We did that today. However, we also were in the front yard. I keep her on leash with me out there. There was a loose dog and I wasn't sure who it belonged to. I just feel better that Emma is leashed when not in the fence. She doesn't seem to mind at all. I can use a flexi which gives her more room to move while under my watchful eye of course.
Greg is home tonight for a change. Very rare that he is home on a Sunday night since he is a lay minister and they have church both Sunday morning and night. We are going to enjoy his presence for sure.
Today the neighborhood was humming with the sound of lawn mowers. It is nice to greet our neighbors. We don't see each other much except in the months we are out working in the yards. Many of us have been out here almost 28 years when the homes were built. Fun to talk to them and see what is new.
We did not plant flowers yet. We hear it might get down to freezing tonight so are glad to wait a week. It still seems cooler than usual this month. Last year was unusually warm. We had 90's in May. Now hitting 60 or once inawhile 70 feels good.
I hope to get a haircut tomorrow and get Emma's nails cut. Book club is in the morning.
I hope you had a good weekend. Take good care, Mary and Emma

Saturday,
I did not write Sat because it got late for me. I was in bed by9:30 due to being tired. I had to rest more than normal Saturday - I am not sure why. We did enjoy getting outside on a Sunny day. At night we went to dinner at Red Lobster - yum and then stopped at one store. Emma did great.
Emma likes both playing outdoors and laying in the grass and just watching what is going on. We have already been outside and weeded some this morning. Enjoyed the morning sunshine. It warms up the air in just a few hours. Greg mowed so it looks nice. I think next weekend we will plant some flowers.
I will write more later. enjoying the sunshine...Mary and Emma

Going to bed late again tonight. We had a good day.
We were at home till supper time. At 4 my granddaughters came over to spend time with us. We played, went to Dairy Queen, and shopped a bit. The time flew by. We got them home by 8:30. I sure love having them here. They are always a joy.
The weather was beautiful. After dark it rained but not long. Tomorrow we plan to be home.
Emma and I are ready for bed. Maybe tomorrow I will download a few pictures from camp. I didn't take many.
Have a great weekend Mary and Emma

thursday night I went to the show Cabaret with a friend. Emma stayed with Greg. The seating is so tight that I thought she would rather be home. She got outdoors and had lots of fun with Greg.
Today, Friday, we will be home most of the day. Again the weather is sunny and going to be in the 70's so we will get outdoors several times. I hope to work a little in my garden but have an inside chore also. It feels great to have windows open. Greg has worked so much that he could take today off. We will have the granddaughters later today. Fun.
Emma is doing great. I seemed to be dropping things this morning and she is more than happy to pick them up. I am so proud of her work. What a great day weather wise today. With MS heat is hard on me. My nervous system does not work well so this weather is perfect.
I plan to write more later. I got home late last night so forgot to write. All is well here. Please pray for my friend Jan, her mom is really sick.
Take care and Have A Great Weekend
Mary and Emma

Our gerbils got loose. Emma stayed quiet and stayed motionless in "sit" for us while Greg tried to catch them. One is still avoiding being caught. We are pleased Emma is handling this so well. Greg is keeping vigil trying to catch the gerbil before bed. Now Emma is laying quietly next to me. She is just amazing.
