Tiga gave birth to beautiful healthy puppies. Check out the blog for the first pictures and details. Yea Tiga glad to hear all went well. Yes and this time they do LOOK like her and I am certain it is not a joke on me ha ha.
Also channel 12 cable aired there story of Helping Paws. They did this without our interview as due to my health we just couldn't get schedules organized. They sent me a link but I could not get the video to work. I did just see it on television. It was a great story especially giving a glimpse at why it is rewarding to be a foster parent to a dog.
I did not take the medication so I could be okay to go to the doctor though again I was sick all night. The dilema is that the medication is doing what is needed and the question is will I get use? The Dr was helpful and is contacting another specialist today about it. I have dr appointments every friday for the next four weeks for various problems. My body let's say is out of balance and various things are causing problems.
So boy do I appreciate Emma's help and companionship. Yeah we dared to take a fast trip to Target to a)get me out of the house b)get some things. Emma did great. We were like the education team today. We stopped and talked to so many mom's and pre-schoolers about what a service dog can do. We ended up with a circle of fans both mom's, kids, and others all listening. It was like a demo of what she can do. Emma just did great so I was proud. It lifted my spirits. We even attracted some staff. Emma was like a people magnet today while on her best behavior.
I am off to take a nap with Emma. We are invited to my son's for dinner. I don't know that I could eat but I would love to see them. I will see how I feel after my nap.
Congratulations to Tiga! Judy! Eileen!
Mary and Emma hope you have a good day.

I am feeling better as the day goes on. Emma and I went outside. A bit chilly but this time we were out a bit longer in the sun and I got a chair out. Must be spring if the lawn chair is out. I threw the ball and another toy for Emma and that was good for both of us. The exercise and fresh air helped us both out.
I also don't want this blog to be a place where I complain too much about my health. Life has struggles for everyone. Most times I have a positive attitude about my MS and other health issues though I am not sure if it seems that way on the blog.
Emma just got fed so she is very happy. The afternoon went better for both of us.
Hope all is well with Tiga as they wait each day for puppies. sorry if I complain too much.

I think Emma was bored with me today. We had to stay home. I am having some icky side effects due to new medication I am trying to get use to. I barely slept last night at all due to problems. How do people on chemo handle all the vomiting etc? My sister in law endured it often over three years before she died. I don't know how she kept her body and spirit going. I feel pretty crummy but hopefully I will get use to the medication and this won't happen. The struggle is I really need to take it but if I can't get use to it well then I don't know what they will do. I am a bit discouraged about it all.
It is a nice day so I have been outside twice with Emma. Not long but she got outside. My husband took her out longer before he went to work. I have tried throwing her a ball inside to play with. She just isn't in the mood to sleep all day today i guess. I had hoped maybe tonight if I feel better that I could go to the store with her so both of us would get out of the house a bit. We were home nearly all day yesterday.
Snow is again melting in our yard. Emma searches to find a spot to roll in but it won't be many more days till this melts. I can't wait till we sit outside with green grass, gardens growing and so on.
I know there are dogs who are home all day while owners work and likely sleep. Sometimes Emma can handle that if I am sick...but gosh on a nice day like today you should see her pleading eyes. She wants to play, be on the go - - maybe she senses how restless I feel though I dare not leave the house yet.
We will be fine of course. Pardon me for complaining. Tomorrow we are invited to my son's house for dinner. That should be nice. He is still applying for jobs and waiting for call backs. This week Sophia is on spring break so since he is home they are enjoying time together.
Emma bored? I know I am. I have been sick a lot lately. They say give this medication a week to see if your body can get use to it...can I be patient??
Hope YOU are feeling good and getting out of the house.

Okay ladies and gentlemen it was late at night. I did not have glasses on. I was trying to wind down after the game. Tiga's puppies who did not at all look like "goldens' were not her puppies. I fell for it all. You can still view Peaches puppies on the blog http://tigaslitter.blogspot.com/. Tiga is still pregnant.
I blame it all on my three wonderful fun loving older brothers. They call me Ms. Gulible. Even after 52 years of their kind hearted teasing - they can still fool me, pull my leg, etc. I think they spent childhood delighting in how they could tease their two younger sisters. My mother always said God helped her have a girl after me so I could survive the teasing of the older brothers. They had some funny ones too. They weren't mean that I recall. More funny though I probably wasn't aways amused being a child.
So I did not do one thing to tease someone on April Fool. I did somehow beleive Tiga a Golden had black, brown puppies.

Tiga did have her puppies. I did not realize that Judy was blogging about the upcoming births. Check out the photos and journal on http://tigaslitter.blogspot.com/
Okay why did I not know about this blog? Since I was thinking about Tiga tonight I checked my bookmarks and tried the old blog site. Ta Dah new photos and journals. Check out how Judy and Steve redo their dinning room to make a puppy nursery. They have been busy. That will teach me not to check out their blog more often.
It reminds me I wish I did more photos to share with all of you. ''
Congratulations Tiga, Judy, Steve, Katie, and Jack who will all be busy dealing with the puppies. Yeah to Tori too.
